You can hurl yourself down terrifying, near-vertical slides at the Aquaventure Waterpark, lounge at some of the world’s most glamorous beach clubs, or wander through the jaw-dropping Lost Chambers Aquarium.
How to Play it Smart: Taxis can get expensive and stuck in traffic out on the Palm. Instead, jump on the Palm Monorail. It runs straight up the “trunk” of the island, drops you right at the front door of Atlantis, and offers incredible elevated views along the way.

How to Play it Smart: Wear your most comfortable sneakers. You will easily walk three to four miles inside without even realizing it. While paying to walk through the aquarium’s underwater tunnel is cool, the massive free viewing pane from the mall floor gives you some of the absolute best photos.

What’s Fun: This is the ultimate place for an evening stroll. The 7-kilometer pedestrian Marina Walk is lined with fantastic cafes, luxury yachts, and buzzing energy. If you want a thrill, you can literally zipline across the marina at 80 km/h with the XLine! Otherwise, just grab a gelato and watch the supercars cruise by the beach at JBR.
How to Play it Smart: Sunset cruises on yachts are heavily advertised and can be pricey. For a brilliant travel hack, go to the Marina Mall and hop on the public Dubai Ferry.
